After 15 years of legalism, this last year and a half has been a journey like no other. A journey to freedom. ‘Soul Liberty’ is a term I came to embrace this last year. For me, it means…
The freedom to have my own spiritual walkabout with God. Free from an institution and from legalism. Freedom to deny the religious laws of man, and embrace Love. That Love is Agape, Father, Son, my Lord. I have the liberty to have a spiritual revolution that comes from Him. I live by love, integrity, and mutual respect for myself and others. The freedom to be on my own journey without a cookie cutter approach, without curses, and without limits. The boundaries I have for my life is that of love. His love is my boundary and He has no boundaries. He is endless. I have endless opportunities to love as He guides my heart by his grace, filled with mercy, and by my personal faith in Him.
I am fascinated by theology, the study of God, but not by man’s interpretation. I study Him in everyday situations around me. When I see His love, grace, and mercy, I am reminded that the face of ‘god’ that religion has painted with a fine tip is quite different than the face He paints with Agape. He uses a broad stroke dipped in red and the canvas is saturated by beauty. The beauty that only comes from the sacrifice of life to bring us abundant spiritual satisfaction and fulfillment.
Please subscribe and join me on this journey, my spiritual revolution, my walkabout with Agape.
