Community is very important to me and without community we wouldn’t have a society. We all have a part in the global community. My hope for the global community is for humankind to grow in maturity, intelligence, and spirituality. Many groups of people contribute to either one or more of those characteristics. They need not all contribute to all of them and each one is equally important.
What I don’t like seeing in the global community is violence, bigotry, neglect, or abuse of any kind. I understand there is going to be dysfunction in this world, but it doesn’t mean we should stop trying to nurture healthy community world wide.
In my vision of a Global Community are:

- Spirituality
- Logic/Reason
- Mutual Respect
- Understanding
- No Condemnation
- Support
- Boldness Against Abuse
- Celebration of Diversity
